Black Friday: noun – ‘a day (probably now month) where companies try to sell people stuff they don’t need and with zero regard for the toll that mass consumerism and easy discounting has on the environment’

It’s that time of year again. No, we’re not doing discounts. Yes, we ARE giving 100% of sales to non-profits focused on the environment.

At Pelotan our mission is to protect every outdoor athlete from the sun and so at the very core of our business is an absolute passion for the natural world. As a member of 1% for the Planet, we donate 1% of ALL sales to support non-profit organisations focused on the environment. However, in keeping with a tradition dating back 2 whole years now, this Black Friday weekend we will be giving 100% of sales instead.

From Friday 26th until Midnight on Sunday 28th November, every penny you spend on Pelotan will go directly to benefit the environment – our attempt to offset the damage Black Friday has on the planet.
